I apologize for not keeping the blog near as up to date as I would like to. It has been craziness, which we are so grateful for. =) Our goal for 2009 is definitely to blog more! Since we haven't been able to blog everything that has been going on over the past few months I wanted to do a little 2008 recap for you guys.

August 16th~ Rebekah and Michael's reception at Market on Main, after their destination wedding in Cancun
August 20th~ Vironica's stunning bridal shoot in Camden, SC.
August 23rd~ Christina and Andy's gorgeous outdoor wedding at Briercreek
August 25th~ We took a week to rennovate the studio and move the KBP headquarters out of our house and to our Locust studio. The studio is still a work in progress but we are so proud of the progress we have made. The move has allowed us to have a little freedom and enjoy being husband and wife while we are at home, instead of working til all hours of the morning! =)

September: September 6th~ Stacey and Mack were married in Winston and had a gorgeous reception on the grounds of Old Salem!
October:
October 4th~ Bridget & Jason's wedding at Ballantye.
October 11th~ Sarah and Allen's gorgeous fall wedding in Franklin, NC
October 18th~ Morgan and Josh's beautiful outdoor wedding!

November :
November 15th~ Kelly and Wes were married downtown with a rockin reception at the Charlotte City Club.
November 19th-December 1st~ Aaron and I were so thankful for a little time away for just the two of us. We went on our first cruise to force us to relax, with no access to a phone or email. We had a blast taking surf lessons in Barbados, snorkeling in the Bahamas, riding ATV's in Dominica, hiking through the rain forest in St. Kitts, taking an island tour of St. Thomas, and taking a Land Rover safari through Antiqua. We love the islands but Barbados was our favorite because of the gorgeous beaches, and we loved the locals we met at Zed's surf shop.
December:
December 6th~ Sarah and Brad were married on a chilly day in Hickory, with the reception at the art museum!
Thank you so much again for being apart of our lives! Many blessings for 2009!

Wow!!! What a great year!! And your studio??? I'm totally floored...it looks SO good - can't wait to see it in person! We keep saying we need to get together - let's plan something in the coming weeks! :)

I'm glad you have had a busy and exciting year! I LOVE the pattern from Wes and Kelly's wedding in November, your shoot of course, the stairs at the Palisades, the trolley, and your studio looks great!

WOW! That's what I call a busy year! You took some huge steps of faith this year, and from the looks of things, they really paid off! I can't wait to see what 2009 holds for you two!!! :)
