Alright, Aaron here...
The long awaited construction debut of the Byrum Bungalow is finally here. We are so excited that in a couple of months we'll be moving into our first house. We wanted to post a few pictures to give you a sneak peak at the construction. A little description: Its a Charleston style house with double porches, round columns, a screened in porch and covered walkway connecting the garage to the main house. Above the garage...Welcome to the Kristin Byrum Photography Studio! This is the part we are really stoked about.
Take a look at the pictures below. We'll try to keep you up to date as the progress continues, so check back often. Can't wait for you to drop by once we get settled in. We should hopefully be closing in September .
May 17-
What your looking at below is a picture of our new Byrum Bungalow well on its way. This is a view of the foundation looking from the garage towards the main house.

May 24-
And here's the front of it, partially framed. You can see the first story porch and the beginnings of the second floor.
May 28-
Now on to the good stuff. Here is the front of the house with the framing complete. Yep that's me posing in the front door. Now you can really get a good idea of what the completed product will look like with the double porches and all. The entrance onto the second story porch is from the master bedroom. I have a feeling I'll be spending some lazy summer afternoons up there.
Now, this is really cool. Here is a view of the back wall of the studio. I love the four windows across the wall as well as the almost 12 foot ceilings. This was a must for the studio.

Now a view of the whole house from the side. What you're looking at is the main house in the front with the screened porch then the covered walkway, which we had to fight tooth and nail for. The walkway then leads to the garage with the studio above it.

Aloha,
Aaron
